White Sox add big bat land Dunn
December 3rd 2010 11:35
The Chicago White Sox and Adam Dunn have agreed on a four year 56 million dollar contract for the slugger.
The White Sox will be Dunn's fourth team in his career once he passes a physical.
In 10 years in the league Dunn has 354 home runs and 880 RBIs. The only downsize is Dunn is coming off a career year with 199 strikeouts.
The White Sox need another bat after the had only one player with 100 RBIs and more than 30 HRs but Dunn will need to show better control and not strike out so much.
This has the potential to be a great deal but this could also backfire very easily. Dunn is a great hitter but accounting for everything he is very average.
Not sure if the will use him in DH alot or play him in the field.
