Looking thru the box scores for day three of the MLB season three players stood out.
Rookie Kyle Drabek of Toronto had a great day throwing 7.0 IP of one hit ball. Kyle gave up only one run while striking out seven. Drabek did have three walks but he scored his first win of the season.
In a losing effort Carlos Lee of Houston was 3-4 with 4RBIs. Lee had a triple and a home run while scoring one run.
Freddy Sanchez of the Giants went 3-4 with 2R and 3RBIs. Freddy had a double and a home run to go along with one walk to pace the Giants in their big win.
So who gets the Player of the day award? Well, i give it to Kyle Drabek. To go out their and have a great outing in your first start of the season to earn his first win in the Majors.
