Ryan Howard earlier leader for M.V.P
With the second half of the season underway lets take a look at the leading contenders for the N.L. M.V.P award.
My top five guys in descending order:
5. Joey Votto (Cincinnati) Votto is the key to the Reds success this year and with numbers like 22 HRs 60 RBIs and batting .310 look for Votto to keep caring the Reds.
4. Andre Ethier (Los Angeles) Ethier and Votto are bascially tied to me but i gave Ethier the edge here. He is batting .318 with 15 HRs and 55RBIs. What will hurt Ethier is that the Dodgers are bad this year.
3. Albert Pujols (St. Louis) What would a M.V.P discussion be without bringing up this guy. Stellar year batting .307 64 RBIs and 21 HRs. He has been doing it for so long it may hurt him because people expect these type of numbers.
2. Corey Hart (Milwaukee) Hart is playing the best ball of his career. He has 70 RBIs and 22 HRs while batting .295. Hart will need to keep this pace going to stay with these guys.
1. Ryan Howard (Philadelphia) Howard is a beast with 21 HRs and a league leading 73 RBIs and he is still batting .298 on the season. Howard will need for Philadelphia to keep pace in the East for him to stay on top.
