Miguel Cabrera The best in the Game

Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers is the best player in the game today. Cabrera is easily the top player for the A.L M.V.P award. He is batting a cool .340 while having a baseball leading 24 HRs and 82 RBIs.

Alot of people like Albert Puljos or Ryan Howard but for this year atleast the all fall short of Cabrera.

My top 5 in the A.L. M.V.P race

1. Miguel Cabrera

2. Josh Hamilton .353 22HRs 67 RBIs

3. Vladimor Guerrero .319 20HRs 76 RBIs

4. Justin Morneau .345 18 HRs 56 RBIs

5. Paul Konerko .303 21HRs 66 RBIs

The A.L has so much power and talent that if you can't hit for power and average you can forget about being on this list.

Look for an exicting second half of the season with these guys as all of their teams are still in contention for the playoffs.

I agree with Miggy as MVP, but there are stuff I disagree with. How is he suddenly the best in the game? Pujols is and Miguel Cabrera as a lot to prove before he reaches that mark. Everyone predicted him to have the best year of all first basemen this year. I did. Why do you always use stats? Can't you give other reasons why the player is so great. Is it his batting eye? How about his leadership and defense? Those last two traits are vital in securing an MVP. The award is not for the one with the best hitting stats, that's the Hank Aaron Award, but for the most valuable player in the MLB for 2010.

I go with stats because if you haven't watched a game all year and see the stats then of course you are going to go with what looks best. Cabrera is the best in the game this year but yes for his career Pujols is way ahead of him. I understand the award is for most valuable player but too many times before the winner of the award has been a guy who hasn't shown any type of leadership aka(Bonds). Thanks for the comment I personally love the way Joey Votto and Paul Konerko are playing this year.

Yeah, sometimes you don't need leadership if you were that good. I love how Konerko has been playing this year too. I will be sure to keep reading this website because you are able to back your opinions.
