Hey, who woulda thought that the homerun totals are down so far this year?.Maybe it is just because they had an extremely cold spring.ya know,maybe the way they are manufacturing the balls nowadays. No bounce. Who's leading the league in HR's anyway?
Jason Giambi is looking a bit more healthy these days. I think he was actually in the lineup the whole game one day last week against the Indians. He even made an attempt at Rickey Hendersons stolen base record by trying to steal a base. Funniest thing to see. As he took off for 2nd base, he looked back at home plate and by the time he turned around to start his slide, the 2nd baseman was there holding the ball waiting to apply the tag.

And those of us in New York that are gonna try and see the last games played at Shea and Yankee stadiums will fall prey to the scalpers all season long. It's been very $ to get to a game, this year is gonna be even harder. But at least we are playing host to the all-star game. Maybe during the telecast of the mid summer classic, Fox sports will get a peek of the new stadium from the inside.Word has it that you cant get too close. There are actually police stationed outside to scare away those curious seekers. I'M counting on Joe Buck to get it done, which incidently, i was brought to tears during saturdays game when they had the blimp say happt birthday to Joe. They were gonna put his pic. up there but his head is just too big...................
