Hitters tear up the scoreboard on Day Two: One Pitcher tops all in MLB action

The Hitters were out in force on Day two of the MLB season. But, one pitcher stood out above everybody to grab the player of the day award.

Arizona 7-6 Rockies in 11 innings

Man was it a good day to be a hitter. Here is just a few of the top performances by a hitter.
Neil Walker(Pit) 2-4 2R 4RBI 1BB 1HR
Gordon Beckham(CHW) 3-4 3R 1D
Adam Dunn(CHW) 2-4 2R 4RBI 1D 1HR
Carlos Santana(Cle) 3-5 2R 3RBI 1HR
Jose Bautista(Tor) 3-4 3R 1RBI 1BB 1HR
Miguel Montero(Ari) 3-5 2R 2RBI 1D 1HR
Jack Hannahan(Cle) 3-5 3R 1RBI 1HR
Two hitters had great days. Carlos Quentin(CHW) went 3-4 scored two runs and drove in five runs. Carlos had a double and a home run.
Rookie J.P Arenciba(Tor) had a two home run day going 3-4. He scored twice and drove in Five. J.P. also had a triple to top off his great day.
A few pitchers had good performances but one stood above the rest.
Felix Hernandez(Sea) thru a complete game to earn his first win of the season. Hernandez gave up five hits and two runs. He struck out five in the first complete game of the 2011 MLB season.
So Felix Hernandez is your player of the day for Day Two of the 2011 MLB season.
