Breaking Down The NL West
March 30th 2011 13:51
The NL West has the defending World Series champs San Francisco Giants in the division. I see Two teams coming out of this division.
San Francisco should once again be the class of the division but i see the Los Angeles Dodgers with their new manager grabbing the wild card slot. Colorado will be very competitive also. San Diego and Arizona will round out the division with both teams battling for the fourth spot.
Final Standings:
1.San Francisco
2. Los Angeles -4
3. Colorado -5
4. Arizona -16
5. San Diego -17
Pitching will give San Francisco the edge this year. Here is a look at the rotation entering opening day.
San Francisco = T. Lincecum, J. Sanchez, M. Cain, M. Bumgarner, B. Zito
San Diego = T. Stauffer, C. Richard, D. Moseley, A. Harang
Colorado = U. Jimenez, J. De La Rosa, J. Chacin, J. Hammel, E. Rogers
Los Angeles = C. Kershaw, C. Billingsley, T. Lilly, H. Kuroda, J. Garland
Arizona = I. Kennedy, D. Hudson, J. Saunders, B. Enright, A. Galarraga
If San Francisco gets the hitting and pitching that they are skilled enough to get look for 100 wins out of them.
