A's say C-YA to Jack Cust

The Oakland A's have designated DH Jack Cust for assignment. Eric Chavez will be team's DH.
From the Mercury News:
The Oakland A's designated Jack Cust for assignment on Sunday, meaning the team has 10 days to either trade, waive or release their leading home run hitter from last season.
Cust, who hit 25 home runs and drove in 70 runs in 2009, was re-signed to a one-year, $2.65 million deal in the off-season.
