A-Rod one away from 600. WHO CARES!

July 23rd 2010 17:06

The New York Yankees are about to add another member to the 600 HR club and guess what nobody cares.

Alex Rodriguez is one homerun away for the mark and i could care less. Its not being talked about that much or hyped up i should say. This should be a sign to all players that cheating never pays.(HMMM lets think about this)

Rodriguez tests postitive for steriods or HGH and guess what he is still playing ball and making over 30 million a year.

So, does it really matter to A-Rod that nobody is talking about his so called accomplishment. Probaly Not.

Look, A-Rod is a great player and probaly didn't need what he took anyways but he did take it and got caught.

Stat breakdown:

Last 15 years 30 or more HRs

Last 13 years 100 or more RBIs

He is 7th all time in HRs and 20th in RBIs.

Oh in case you are wondering NO i would not vote for him to be in the Hall.

When Pete Rose the greatest hitter in the game gets in then we can talk about steriod boys or HGH boys till then Hell NO!

Let me ask you a question here. Why do people care so much about steroids. A lot of people, not just athletes, use them. The sad thing is, half the athletes we respect have taken steroids. Does it really hurt the game? Besides, what is a PED? It's actually anything that substantially raises performance. In essence, water is a PED. The zinc Marlon Byrd takes is a PED. A lot of steroids are really made out of natural substances. PEDs are nothing new. Players in Babe Ruth's time used them. Ruth himself always ate hot dogs and drank beer before games. He said it helped. It probably did. In conclusion, the media has really overbloated the idea and the danger of steroids to the game. We should ban it, but we shouldn't overreact and ban people from the hall. Listen, the Hall of Fame is a museum not the Vatican.

Yes, players have being getting away with cheating for so long. I am not a big critic when it comes to PED. The deal with A-Rod is that because he tested postitive nobody wants to support him on this milestone not even the Yankees. I fell that Barry Bonds will get into the HOF and be the first star suspected of doing PED to get in. Roger Clemens will be next. A-Rod will get in the Hall because he is a great player.
